App: Mobile Doctor

I have created an application to help doctors to keep track of their patients. It is called “Mobile Doctor” and you can download it from Google play store.

For whom is this application?

If you are a doctor in hospitals or clinics where patients come to you, this is not the app for you. When you diagnose your patient, your computer / laptop are with you. You can always enter your diagnosis into your computer. However, there are still many other doctors in this world where they go to patients. If you are one of them, this is an application for you.

What does this application do?

This is a simple application. It helps doctors to keep a list of their patients and patients’ past records (more specifically, prescriptions). Some add-on features come to that: search patients by name, use templates to speed up the process of entering prescriptions, etc.

How does this application differ from the others?

This application allows doctors to share the prescription with the patient via email, sms, or any chatting application. Alternatively, doctor can also print the prescription through a USB-connected printer.

What are the future potentials of this application?

Currently, all the data is stored locally. By simple modification, this application can connect to any database server for data retrieval / modification. For any customization, please leave your contact information as comment.

Some final words…

Although this is a simple application, it is efficient, stable, and has great future extensions. Right now it is free for download from Google play store and has no advertisement. Feel free to have a try. Comments are most welcomed.
