It is interesting to see how Physics laws are applied in other disciplines. Take Newton’s laws of motion for example,it is applicable when we talk about personal habits too, however briefly.

Newton’s first law of motion

Unless with your will to change (i.e. force impressed), you will never pickup a new habit (i.e. state of being at rest) and your old habits stay forever (i.e. state of moving uniformly straight forward).

Newton’s second law of motion

The stronger your willingness to fight your habits, the faster (i.e. proportional) you achieve (i.e. alteration in motion).

Newton’s third law of motion

To get rid of your old habits (i.e. action), find new routines (equal reaction) to replace them.

 

It is also true if we replace our argument on personal habits by corporate culture.
