1000px-moonrise_over_kuala_lumpurKuala Lumpur is a tropical city. It is not easy to walk in the city for a long time. However, if you want to walk from KLCC (a.k.a the twin tower) to Pavilion KL, there is a fully air-conditioned walk way waiting for you. Here is how to get to the walk way.

The walk way is fully air-conditioned, and mainly divided into two parts. The first part links KLCC and KL Convention Centre. The second part links KL Convention Centre and Pavilion KL.

When you are at KLCC concierge, follow the escalator to go to B1. Then you will find a Maybank branch there. img_4919

Follow the signboard which shows the direction to KL Convention Centre. You will come to an underground walk way. The walk way is quite long, but fully air-conditioned. It took us around 7 mins.

The part which is close to KL Convention Centre is so wide that we think it is a good spot for street dancers / hip hop dancers to practice their dance there (although we are not sure if people are allowed to do so).

At the end of the walk way there is the concourse level of KL Convention Centre. Look for the pathway between the aquarium and Starbucks. Follow the pathway and you will come to a staircase.

The staircase will lead you to outside of KL Convention Centre. Turn to your right, there is the “KLCC – Bukit Bintang Walkway” footbridge. This is the second part of your walk.

The second part of your walk is a footbridge. Although it is also fully air-conditioned, it is a bit warm in there. However, walking on the footbridge is enjoyable. From the footbridge, you can see the street views and the surrounding buildings. There are a few exits along the footbridge, the last exit is Pavilion KL of course. It took us another 7 mins walking on the bridge.
